Job summary
Manages the Award Programs which recognize the professional achievements of WHPRMS members.
Duties
Manages the following award programs:
Prestige Awards
Coordinates with Board of Directors to confirm the format of the program and determine application process and deadlines.
Provides updates to website content.
Coordinates with Badger Bay to post application form.
Writes and sends letters to the CEO of winning organizations.
Works with Website and Social Media Chair to post winners on web and social.
Leadership Recognition
Determines application deadline.
Provides updated website content as needed for Leadership Recognition webpage.
Works with Badger Bay to send call for nominations emails.
Reviews applications with President.
Sends winner names to Website Chair so awards can be ordered in time for the conference.
Professional Excellence
Determines nomination deadline.
Provides updated website content as needed for Professional Excellence webpage.
Works with Badger Bay to send call for nominations emails.
Reviews nominations with President and Board of Directors.
Sends winner’s name to Website Chair so award can be ordered in time for the conference.
Works with Website Chair and Social Media Chair to promote the award programs.
Provides information to Website Chair and Social Media Chair to post award winners’ photos on website and social media after awards ceremony.
Works with Conference Planning Committee to organize the annual conference awards ceremony, including orders for any physical awards.
Actively participates in board meetings and decisions.
Efficiently utilizes available resources, seeking board approval for any unbudgeted activities/expenditures.
Performs other related duties as requested by the president.
Attends at least four Board of Directors meetings annually, either in person or virtually. Special exceptions will be made upon approval by the president.
Updates job description if needed and forwards it to the president.
