Video can be one of the most powerful tools in a communicator’s toolkit — when it’s done strategically. In this session, Froedtert ThedaCare communications professionals will share a practical approach to creating effective internal videos that start with a clear communications plan and result in authentic, engaging storytelling.
Learn how to define your audience and objectives, craft conversational talking points instead of rigid scripts and ask interview questions that invite meaningful, story-driven responses. The session will also cover practical production tips including planning B-roll and pairing video with audio and written communications. Leave with a simple framework for producing internal videos that inform, connect with team members and support broader organizational messaging.

Rachel Mosey is a strategic communications professional with 30 years of experience translating complex information into clear, compelling messages for wide-ranging audiences. Her expertise spans corporate communications, media relations, marketing and journalism.
At Froedtert ThedaCare, Rachel is part of a team of strategic communicators focused on delivering accurate, contextualized communications aligned with industry best practices. She develops and executes internal communications strategies that ensure messaging reflects the organization’s voice, values and strategic priorities, while supporting operational goals and engaging key stakeholders.
Previously Rachel served as communications manager for a science education company, leading integrated communications strategies to promote its brand, products and services. Earlier in her career she was a television news producer, writing and editing scripts and managing fast-paced newscasts and breaking news coverage.
Steph Graham is senior content producer, communications, at Froedtert ThedaCare in Milwaukee, where she shares the stories of physicians, clinicians and staff across the health system. She also supports digital communications. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Steph began her award-winning career in TV and radio news as a reporter and special projects producer before transitioning into public relations, marketing and brand storytelling.
Her previous roles include marketing and communications positions with Perlick Corp. and Steinhafels Furniture. Steph also worked at TODAY’S TMJ4 and Newsradio 620 WTMJ in Milwaukee.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in broadcast journalism from Ohio University’s Scripps School of Journalism. In her spare time, Steph enjoys volunteering, reading and spending time with her rescue pup, Mabel.
