Dan is a nationally recognized expert in healthcare marketing, regularly contributing articles to healthcare marketing publications and making keynote speeches and presentations at conferences around the country. His articles are regularly featured in a number of healthcare marketing publications and news services including, SmartBrief for Health Care Marketers, Strategic Health Care Marketing, Healthcare Strategy Alert, eHealthcare Strategy & Trends, and Spectrum. And if all that doesn’t keep him busy enough, he’s also a renowned healthcare marketing blogger, brand consultant, and strategist. In 2023, he was inducted into the Healthcare Internet Hall of Fame.

Tony Gnau is the Founder and Chief Storytelling Officer at T60 Health, the healthcare video specialists. He’s a three-time Emmy Award-winning journalist and has won 18 Telly Awards for corporate videos. He is also the author of the Amazon #1 Bestseller Lights, Camera, Impact: storytelling, branding, and production tips for engaging corporate videos. He has created videos for the likes of Walgreens, Aurora Healthcare, CommonSpirit, and Catholic Health Initiatives. Tony has written over 700 blog posts on video marketing and speaks on the subject to communications professionals at conferences such as Content Marketing World, MarketingProfs B2B Forum, the Midwest Digital Marketing Conference, and Content Jam. Finally, Tony is a former USC Trojan football player, Star Wars geek, and a devoted husband and father.

Cherie Morgan

Cherie Morgan serves as the Marketing Director of Tamarack Health. She has worked for the organization for 15 years, and as of June 2023 expanded her role to align two marketing teams to support the rapidly expanding healthcare organization in northwestern Wisconsin. In her role she is responsible for leading a team of six to develop marketing campaigns, coordinating internal and external communications, public relations, strategic planning, community outreach and the organization’s Community Health Improvement Plans. Living, working and volunteering in the Hayward area for almost 30 years, Cherie understands the value of community connections. She has been fortunate to work with large and small businesses, government officials and agencies, municipalities, area schools, the media and volunteers to coordinate numerous events and initiatives to support the community. In her free-time she enjoys spending time with her family, doing yoga, biking, reading and being outdoors.

With nearly 25 years of experience in healthcare communication, this artist, photographer, videographer, and editor brings a visionary sensibility to the leadership of our creative team. Joe excels in building strategies for brand identity systems, integrated campaigns, organic social content, and human-centered experiences. He is also adept at mapping consumer journeys to optimize patient acquisition. He has been recognized with numerous healthcare marketing awards and was honored with a "20 under 40" Award from the Duluth News Tribune. Joe’s love of family and community makes him a person people know they can count on in a pinch—with an open mind and heart.

Janee Wolf

Janee is a problem solver with more than 18 years of experience. She loves to study people and believes some of the greatest magic we can create as marketers is memorable experiences. She brings a diverse background in healthcare, B2C and B2B marketing, and has helped develop and lead integrated marketing campaigns for a variety of clients including ThedaCare, Arkansas Children's, Med Center Health, Johnsonville Sausage, Florsheim Shoes, Bostik, Case IH and DOW Agriculture. Janee likes to ask questions and has honed her skills and ability to deliver key insights to keep her teams on-strategy for results-driven campaigns. When she's not at the office, Janee is at home chasing after her two kids and two dogs and loving every minute of the chaos.

Working in account service roles for his full professional career, Mickey brings over a decade of healthcare marketing experience to the Core team, having worked with organizations throughout the U.S. He takes special pride in his work with TriHealth, where he’s helped create a brand position and creative platform focused on the emotional and functional benefits of their population health approach. When he’s not strengthening client connections, he’s still bringing people together, using his free time to cook and entertain friends and family with delicious food.

As founder of a boutique marketing firm, she has directed regional & national print, broadcast, digital, and social media for brands. At Outreach, she is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies for primary care, behavioral health, community services, dental, and pharmacy pillars of care. In 2024, Ebony Ssali developed and hosted a monthly radio broadcast, presented by Outreach Community Health Centers, airing on dual Milwaukee stations entitled, Community Heartbeat. The show presents health topics and guests in a warm, approachable talk radio format.

When not working, Lacey enjoys travel, reading, gaming, and backpacking with her family.

Kari Hofer

General Session - Shaping the Narrative: WHA’s Messaging Strategies to Support Wisconsin Hospitals

Kari Hofer joined the Wisconsin Hospital Association (WHA) in February 2018 as the Vice President of Advocacy and currently serves as the Vice President of External Affairs. In this role, she leads WHA’s external affairs efforts, overseeing strategic communications and coordinating initiatives that inform, engage, and mobilize WHA members and stakeholders across the state. Before joining WHA, Kari spent a decade fundraising for various political campaigns and committees. She previously served as Executive Director of the WMC Foundation, a nonprofit entity of Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison and earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2015.
