Wisconsin Hospital Association Representation

WHPRMS is represented on the Council of Governmental Affairs of the Wisconsin Hospital Association (WHA) and serves, in an advisory capacity, on other WHA committees and programs as appropriate. WHPRMS also works collaboratively with WHA to update and publish the Wisconsin Health Care Media Guide, a priceless resource for anyone working with the news media.

To further facilitate communication between the two organizations, a member of the WHA communications team attends WHPRMS board meetings. By working together the organizations can keep members appraised of activity in the legislature, work to organize grass root campaigns as appropriate, and arm media relations professionals with state or regional facts and figures so they can proactively address hot topics with local media.
