West District Representative
The West District Representative position is now open and nominations are being accepted for the 2010 WHPRMS programming year. This is an ideal opportunity for WHPRMS members in good standing living or working in Adams, Buffalo, Chippewa, Dunn, Eau Claire, Jackson, Juneau, La Crosse, Monroe, Pepin, Pierce, St. Croix, Trempealeau, Vernon and Richland counties to consider expanding their leadership experience and contributing to our mission. A minimum two years' general membership is needed for consideration.
In addition to representing members' needs, our district reps are the local "welcome wagon" for WHPRMS; greeting new members, encouraging renewals in their district during our Membership Drive (starting this month) and sometimes planning events in their areas. Board meetings alternate between in-person and teleconference the first Friday of each month (with some exceptions).
