Requirements:
Must have been a member of WHPRMS for at least two years and have a good working knowledge of the organization.
Consideration will be given to professional expertise, involvement and service to the organization.
Job summary:
Coordinates state seminars and supports district education efforts. Coordinates annual conference in conjunction with WHA. Coordinates ongoing education programs. Serves as a resource for education ideas.
Duties:
- Serves as a resource for district representatives to identify members' educational needs and supports district education efforts.
- Serves as conference planning chair, helps recruit speakers, plan and promote conference in conjunction with WHA.
- Coordinates at least one statewide education seminar (Professional Development Day) including deciding on topic, recruiting speakers, arranging location and designing and mailing invitations to members.
- Assists interested WHPRMS members in coordinating local or statewide seminars.
- Identifies educational articles, Web sites and other information and includes them in Connections and WHPRMS Web site.
- Coordinates educational webinars, including speakers & logistics, for members.
- Efficiently utilizes available resources, seeking board approval for any unbudgeted activities/expenditures.
- Performs other related duties as requested by the president.
- Revises planning materials and presents to new chair.
- Updates job description if needed and forwards to secretary.
