Overview:
Important liaison
role between account executive, agency and client. Responsible
for getting direction from account executives and completing
projects on time and on budget. Backup to the account executive
for client contact. ASMs make it their business to learn the clients’ business
thoroughly by conducting ongoing analyses, including review of
the clients’ business plans, to identify present and potential
problems and opportunities.
Qualifications:
An intermediate position for a college graduate with three
to five years of relevant agency and/or health care work experience.Clear
and concise thought process and communications skills; excellent
writing skills. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising,
communications or related field. Minimum two years experience in
a health care-related field preferred. Highly organized with strong
attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively with other team
members to create excellent products in a friendly environment.
Responsibilities:
Drafts creative briefs for account executive and/or client
approval as appropriate and oversees implementation of approved client
projects and plans. Monitors status of assigned client projects and
takes action to ensure all are completed on time and satisfactorily
prepared for client
review. Provides direction to account service coordinator and senior
account service coordinator to keep client projects moving through
TRG systems
on time and on budget, alerting account executive to potential problems,
budget variances, etc. Starts complex new jobs for client projects,
gathering all needed info from other account service team members,
media and production. Completes media request forms and follows up
on media buys and plans. Provides support on research projects, drafting
objectives and supporting documents; suggesting methodologies and
scope; analyzing results, drafting summary and recommendations; and
preparing final documents or presentations as appropriate. Attends
client meetings and prepares and distributes client conference reports
following meetings as directed; when account executive is
unavailable, leads in client communication to advance and complete
projects, provide requested information, etc. Drafts copy for review
by account executive (brochure and other basic copy, marketing plans,
internal communications plans, research reports,
educational pamphlets, etc.). Monitors maintenance of electronic
file folders for assigned clients. Reviews creative projects, flags
questions and concerns, and proposes solutions for account executive
review. Briefs creative, production and media staff in support of
account executive client projects. Thinks proactively and recommends
strategies and opportunities that lead to greater client success;
coordinates with other agency team
members to provide timely project estimates to clients. Recommends
new business opportunities with existing clients and plays a role
in their development; supports account executive in other
new business development efforts.

to join our
Marketing team. Under the guidance of the Marketing Managers, the

Marketing Specialist will focus on planning, researching, organizing,
writing/developing, editing/updating, and maintaining written and
multimedia content for SHPs internal and external Web sites. This
person will also be knowledgeable regarding all aspects of SHP's

relations and marketing communications program, and will assist
in those
areas as needed. Duties include: responsible for the editorial
coordination and production of written or multimedia copy/content

SHP's internal and external Web sites; develop and create new ideas
for
copy and content on SHP's Web sites; work closely with department

product line representatives to research, write, plan, and maintain
their portions of the Web site; responsible for online marketing

A Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism or related field
is
required. Additional education in information systems or related
field
preferred. A minimum of one to three years experience with web
site
development; familiarity with and experience browsing the World
Wide
Web; a solid understanding of search engines and directories, web
marketing; proven ability to research and produce written copy
for a
variety of materials on a timely basis; experience using HTML editors
and graphic design software (Microsoft FrontPage, Macromedia
Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, PhotoImpact); experience using Microsoft Access
and other Microsoft Office products; and excellent oral
communications skills.
