Marketing Communication Specialist Sr.

 
Security Health Plan, affiliated with Marshfield Clinic, serves more than 177,000 people in a 32-county area in northern, western and central Wisconsin, offering a variety of health insurance options for employer groups, individuals, and families.

 We are currently seeking a Marketing Communication Specialist Sr. to work in conjunction with the Marketing Manager. This position is responsible for managing the communication efforts of Security Health Plan. This individual will work with all departments to ensure corporate communication strategies and standards are maintained.  In addition to working with all internal departments, this position is responsible for implementing the plan’s promotional strategies and successfully advancing the market position of Security Health Plan. 

 This position will research, write, edit content for all corporate communication vehicles (press releases; newsletters; marketing, sales and educational materials; electronic communication, etc.); coordinate approvals, graphic design, printing and distribution as required by project needs. Develop product training and sales tools.  Participate in regulatory audits (e.g., OCI, CMS) as related to marketing and communication. Create measurements and track effectiveness of communication efforts with regard to achieving intended objectives.  Assist in planning Web content; develop, edit and coordinate approvals for content distributed via Security Health Plan’s Web site.  In coordination with other departments, write, edit, coordinate content and approvals for product line policy documents.

 Requires a Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, marketing, communications or related field of study. Valid license to sell health insurance in the State of Wisconsin preferred. Three years experience in a professional field emphasizing writing and project coordination such as corporate communications, marketing, public relations or journalism required; background in HMOs and managed care preferred.

Hospital Development/Marketing Manager

 Lions Eye Bank of Wisconsin (LEBW) has an exciting opportunity for a Hospital Development/Marketing Manager. The focus of this position is to develop and maintain strong and progressive relationships with key hospital personnel throughout the state to increase awareness and benefits of eye donation.  Duties include developing a plan, acting as a liaison to hospitals, coroners, funeral homes, and procurement partners; developing and distributing educational materials designed for hospitals; and managing hospital development budget. More than 50% in-state travel. Previous experience building productive partnerships with organizations and individuals in a non-profit environment is required. Hospital development experience in a donation environment is preferred, and marketing experience in health care is beneficial. Need strong organizational, communication and computer skills, as well as ability to interact with all levels of hospital management and procurement partners.
